Rope:
Use rope wool to insulate between the logs of log homes. It may also be used around windows and doors of any style home.
Batts:
Batts are preferred in the notches of log homes. They are also used in the ceilings, walls & floors of frame & timber-frame homes. The batts come pre-cut
for 16" or 24" centers, and are either 3.5 inches thick at R-13 or 5.25 inches thick at R-19.
