Which One?

Rope:

Use rope wool to insulate between the logs of log homes. It may also be used around windows and doors of any style home. It sells for $10.Can/pound or about $8.50US/pound.

Batts:

Batts are preferred in the notches of log homes. They are also used in the ceilings, walls & floors of frame & timber-frame homes. The batts come pre-cut for 16" or 24" centers, and are 2" thick and 24' long. They sell for $6.50/pound or about $5.53US/pound.
